frost line here is about 5 1/2 to 6 foot deep...
too costly but for most areas it is solid long time before you go that deep!
but the moisture in the ground is the problem.....it freezes and heaves and
nothing can be done about it.... I have a spring in my back yard
the city street two blocks down has a spring in it
