[AT] IH engine identification

I ran across a new one (to me) today.  A Trojan motor grader, equipped w/ a
4 cyl gas IH
engine.  This is an oldie from what the owner tells me and I talked to some
of my grader friends, and they have never run across one either.

I would like some help identifying the engine.  Casting number on the
cylinder block is 6227D.  Can anyone tell me what this engine (model) is!?
