[AT] Generator wiring question

Greg,
For the short periods of run time that the tractor will see as a puller, I see no problem with grounding the field terminal. You could use a 2 1/2 ohm 10 watt resistor from the field to ground for a lower charge rate if you are concerned with over charging.

  Subject: [AT] Generator wiring question

I'm getting real close to being ready to fire up the old MinnyMo R
that I've been working on for awhile, but I'm not quite sure what to
do with the field wire from the generator. The original charge control
switch is junk and I really don't want to buy one, nor do I want to
fry the battery and/or the generator by doing something stupid.

So, the question is where do I connect the field wire? This one
doesn't have a voltage regulator, it uses a cutout relay.

  TIA

  Greg
