Greg---For my Case VAI that was converted to 12 volt negative ground, but
still using the small generator to look original I bought a small solid
state cut out that looks much like the original. The starter generator
repair shop had the cut out.

Subject: [AT] Generator wiring question

I'm getting real close to being ready to fire up the old MinnyMo R
that I've been working on for awhile, but I'm not quite sure what to
do with the field wire from the generator. The original charge control
switch is junk and I really don't want to buy one, nor do I want to
fry the battery and/or the generator by doing something stupid.

So, the question is where do I connect the field wire? This one
doesn't have a voltage regulator, it uses a cutout relay.

TIA

Greg
