Ken-
I used to use regular brake fluid on a cloth after the mud was off the
tires. Seemed to work pretty well for me. Now I use yellow paint and stick
to steel rims. Threw my tire gauge away also. ;-)

Subject: [AJD] Cleaning Tractor Tires

I have used all kinds of dressings/protectorants on the tires of my 1950
John
Deere "B." Currently I am using John Deere Ultra Guard.

Regardless of the brand used, it's not long before the tires turn brown.
I've used various cleaners to remove this brown "stuff" but little or no
success.

Any suggestions for a cleaner that would "do the job?"

Ken
