>From what I have heard from Ford and GM they are voiding the warranty
simply because of the oil itself. The factory filter is not oiled and
the K&N actually does not meet Ford or GM specs due to the oil. Even one
correctly oiled will atomize some of the oil into the airstream, just
like it would with any liquid. That oil causes problems by coating
things like the MAF sensor and AIT sensors.
