[AT] Hail in the Heartland

Spring weather is a bit unpredictable. We had 80 degrees here yesterday.
Today in the 40's windy, cold, rain storms, power went off at about 2:00PM
and is still off. Running on generator power right now. Who knows what
tomorrow will bring.

Quite a contrast with our Sask. weather . We hit record highs today. I think
it was near 80 degrees. I was looking for shady spots at the farm auction
sale. Watched some good old iron sell today including a JD unstyled AR for
$5000. A Mini U for $700. A 15-30 McCormick for $600. Best of all was the
old "Manitoba Portable " engine at $7000. It looked good, started easy and
sounded great.
I'll try and get a few pics in webshots since my personal webpages have
become inaccessible to me for the time being.
