	Ralph, I looked at the new "6 hp" compressor/vertical tank units
at Tractor Supply a couple years ago and wondered where they got the six
horses from. I think someone had his slide rule turned backwards when they
did the figuring on that one. grins.  They sure look nice with that big
tank and all and hold a lot of air but I also really doubt the horsepower
of them.

	I also have a tank mounted Kellogg American two cylinder compressor
that ran the cutters for a large newspaper printing press for over 30 years
that has a 3 hp 220VAC motor on it that will run rings around any of those
"supposed to be" 6 hp new compressors. This one came to me free when the
newspaper decided to install two compressors instead of just the one and
decided to junk this one. My son offered to take it to the dump for them
and brought it to me instead. It came with a spare rebuilt compressor too.

	Good luck with your new one, Ralph. You might be one of the lucky
ones and never wear it out.
