A couple weeks ago I mentioned that I had bought an Allis D-12
with Bush Hog and also bought a large Vermont Castings wood stove from
the same guy. I had to let the wood stove sit there until today because
it rained every day for the past two weeks. Today I went to get the
wood stove and after we had it loaded in my truck and tied down, the
guy says to me, "Come with me a second. I have something to give you."
So he opens the tailgate on his pickup and in there he has a brand new
Earthway Garden Tractor mount model 9000 seeder/fertilizer machine. He
asked if I wanted it and of course, I did. I have been looking for a
mounted corn planter with fertilizer attachment for about 5 years now.
We put it in my pickup and when I got it home I looked it over. It comes
with plates for over 20 vegetables - from carrot seed to the largest of
the beans. Never used and complete with everything including the swing
over row marker. It has both openers and closers for seed and the
fertilizer and appears to be quite well made. He almost forgot to give
me the manual but remembered at the last minute and went in and got it
for me. I hope this seeder works OK. I have a light hand push Earthway
seeder that doesn't work all that well.

Does anyone else have one of these? It would attach to the
drawbar on any of my garden tractors and even the Cub. It is ground
driven but has good sized lugs on the drive wheel so I imagine it has
pretty positive drive.

	People keep giving me things.
