I think that all of the early D-2 were crank started the one my grandfather borrowed was and he was a small man 5.8 160 lbs. My Case LA has 403 cid 4 banger and it has a crank I can turn it over but not start it. A freind was over yesterday and started it on the crank I was surprised.
