O.K., I forgot to say that the reason for acquiring the generator was so I
could avoid running wires (240V to the tractor/gardentractor/motorbike workshed
I am building for a little while longer.
Although I haven't heard a peep from anyone on the list yet (I am Shocked
!!), I think I am making some progress.
I managed to unroll some of the foil label which remained where it had been
hit and bunched up.
The second No. of the Model number seems to be an "8", which according to
http://www.asecc.com/data/sears.html means that it is either Generac or
Clinton who manufactured the genset.
So, has anyone an idea of how I can get some more details (I have already
looked at Generac.com website, but there is no historical tech data section)
before I give the Generac folks a call??
