[AT] Allis CA Hand Clutch

Leroy; The hand clutch on an Allis CA doesn't disengage the rear wheels,
ever. It simply causes a break in the right rear axle and that stops forward
motion just as a spinning rear wheel does. IF you've had possession of this
CA long enough to KNOW that the clutch just suddenly quit working then the
clutch is simply not opening. (the hand clutch on the CA DOES require that
you hold the lever back to disengage the clutch. It's not like the over
center WD/WD-45's) If you/the owner just got the tractor there is a good
chance the PO bolted the clutch halves together rather than install new
facing if/when it went to slipping, OR they may have simply took the clutch
out and replaced the axle with a non clutch axle. If the machine sets
outside all of the time there's also a chance the clutch rusted stuck
engaged. Gil
